World News Day 2020 on September 28 aims to raise public awareness of the critical role that journalists play in providing credible and reliable news, to help people make sense of and improve the rapidly changing world around them. This year, we look at how journalism coped, adapted and pushed forward in an unprecedented time. ‘World News Day 2020: Journalism Through a Pandemic’ is presented by The Straits Times in conjunction with the World Editors Forum and The Canadian Journalism Foundation, with support from the Google News Initiative.
